What I collect, and why.
Effective September 15, 2026
This site is run by Alex Lane Photography, a small photography business. I collect as little as I can and use it only to reply to you and run your session.
What I collect
- Inquiries. When you send the contact form I keep your name, email, the session type, your preferred date, and your message, along with the IP address and browser the request came from (to filter spam).
- Bookings. If you book through the calendar, Cal.com handles your name, email, the appointment, and any deposit. I see the booking in my calendar.
- Site usage. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or tracking individual visitors.
How I use it
To answer your inquiry, schedule and deliver your session, and send you the photos. I don't sell or share your details, and I don't send marketing email unless you've asked for it.
Who helps run the site
These services process data on my behalf, each under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare: hosting, the inquiry database, spam protection (Turnstile), and analytics.
- Resend: sends the inquiry emails.
- Cal.com: online booking and deposits (with Stripe as the payment processor).
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile and the Cal.com booking calendar may set cookies they need to function.
How long I keep it
Inquiries are kept while they're useful for following up on our conversation, and I delete them when you ask. Photos and booking details are kept for as long as I'm working with you and backing up your images.
Your choices
Want to see, correct, or delete what I have about you? Email hello@alexlanephoto.com and I'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will move and the new text will be here.
